When it comes to independent Black journalism, I’m very particular about who I choose to follow. Some of the most radical tend to be selective and biased with their content. But there is one personality who never disappoints, and Honest Media would like to give her an online salute. Dr. Mumbi Seraki.
Dr. Mumbi Seraki is a media personality who received an Undergraduate Degree in Human Resources and International Business from Loyola University in Chicago, a Masters in Human Resources Planning from Webster University in Geneva, Switzerland, and a Ph.D. from the University of Nairobi in African Women Studies. Her research focuses on the evolving self-image of African people, with a special focus on African women. She was a national broadcaster for a popular TV show in Kenya, called Afternoon Live, and hosted a radio show, called State of the Nation. But her life’s passion and career focus on restoring the stolen identity of Africa and shining a spotlight on the mental and spiritual colonization that still oppresses African people today.
Until Next Time…
