Greetings Everyone,

My name is Broderick Russell Jr., and I would like to thank you all for taking the time to check out my blog.

Just to tell you a little bit about myself: I am from Charlotte, NC. I have a background in Mass Communications, by way of Winston-Salem State University and Full Sail University. My experience in the communications field consists of production, editing, marketing, and currently digital writing.

I’ve never considered myself a writer but divine intervention has been leading me down this path for the past few years now, and I am submitting to it without hesitation. Blogging has been somewhat of a catharsis for me, not only due to the unbiased information I’m able to share throughout the globe but because of the conversations I want to spark with each post. As an African American male, there tends to be a stifled narrative about my community and I hope to encourage a more open-minded dialogue with some of the topics that you’ll see relative to my experience.

My theories and opinions on here will never be 100% correct, so please challenge anything that evokes thought. But also be prepared for a possible rebuttal, because that’s the kind of guy I can be.
