Greetings Folks,
As I’ve mentioned in a previous post, highlighting media outlets who provide substantial content is essential on this blog; especially those platforms marketed towards our youth. So I wanted to spotlight a magazine for Black girls.
Sista’s Keeper Magazine
Founded by LaPorsha Lowry, Sista’s Keeper Magazine is not just a magazine but a MOVEMENT that promotes self-esteem and sisterhood in Black teen girls, ages 12-19. Some of the content include Motivational Messages, College Enrollment Prep, Career Balance, Extra Curricular Activities, and Entertainment. For just $18 you can subscribe to this amazing magazine. And those subscriptions include 6 bi-monthly issues as well as an “I AM My Sister’s Keeper” wristband.

Until Next Time…
