High-Intensity-Interval-Training (HIIT) has been found to burn more fat than aerobic exercises, according to Knowridge.
Scientists from Victoria University suggested that people start adding HIIT training to their exercise routine.
Examples of those exercises include the following:
- Mountain Climbers
- Air Squats
- Pull Ups
- Push Ups
- Jump Lunges
- Jumping Jacks
- Burpees
- Planks
- Knee Highs
- Sprints
Research conducted by Professor Zeljko Pedisic and his team found that a few sessions of HIIT per week will turn the body into a “fat-burning machine.” Fat metabolism will improve after only four weeks of HIIT, and after twelve weeks, each minute of physical activity is expected to burn an additional 0.13 grams of fat.
Folks who are overweight may also experience an increase in fat burning, which could help over two billion people.
So start diversifying your workouts and watch the pounds drop.
Until Next Time…
