During the Summoning the Village event yesterday, I was introduced to an impactful organization that I had to spotlight.

Project B.O.L.T

Project B.O.L.T (Building Outstanding Lives Together) is committed to making changes in the city of Charlotte, NC. President and Co-Founder Gemini Boyd is doing this by building connections between organizations and the youth, particularly those in underprivileged areas. Project B.O.L.T’s mission is to build inclusive communities for all people and improve the lives of others. Some of their programs include homeless outreach, food donations, drop-offs, mentorship, and employment opportunities.

Having had a rough upbringing himself, Gemini Boyd is doing a phenomenal job passing down his life experience and wisdom to the youth. He’s argued that our children are not our future, they are our right now. So it’s imperative that we as adults act accordingly.
