I saw some great news today and had to share it. The following information comes from Africa News.

Equatorial Guinea is the first African country to receive COVID-19 prevention and cure mixture from Madagascar. Developed by the Madagascar Institute of Applied Research, this treatment is called COVID-Organics and it’s a tonic derived from artemisia (a plant used to treat malaria) and other indigenous herbs. 10,000 doses used for preventive treatments and 1,500 used for curative treatments were sent to Equatorial Guinea. And Tianarivelo Razafimahefa, Madagascar Minister of the Interior and Decentralization, advised the following:

“This is a gift from the President, the Malagasy people to the Guineans. We must not forget that it is important to help other countries, especially African countries, and it is urgent that we save human lives.”
