Greetings All,
I saw some great news earlier and had to share it. The following information comes from CNBC Africa and Vanguard.
As COVID-19 continues to spread throughout the globe, stranded Nigerians in the diaspora who’ve asked to come back home will get that opportunity. Nigeria’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has asked its missions abroad team to compile a list of willing Nigerians who want to come home. Chairman and CEO of Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, Abike Dabiri-Erewa, disclosed this as a sequel to the requests already made by Nigerians stranded abroad.
Nigeria will become the first country on the continent to do a global call for its stranded citizens, which is great news.
