I came across a very interesting documentary and wanted to share it with you all. It’s entitled Black In Latin America.

Narrated by Harvard Scholar Henry Louis Gates, Jr., Black In Latin America is a four-part docuseries on the African descendants in Latin America. This series examines how the rich cultures of Latin America and the Caribbean came to be. The six countries featured include the Dominican Republic, Haiti, Cuba, Brazil, Mexico, and Peru. And throughout Professor Gates’ journey, he uncovers some of the hidden stories and people marked by their African Roots.
