Greetings All,

I wanted to shine a light on an author whose novels have really kept my attention for awhile now, James Rollins.

New York Times Best Seller and action-adventure/thriller/history/science fiction extraordinaire, would be the best way to describe him. I was first introduced to his work from a classmate who recommended I check out the book Amazonia:

Set in the Amazonian jungle, this story follows a team of scientists and U.S. Army Rangers into the world of the unknown. Following the trail of a previous team’s expedition, that killed all except for one, main character Nathan Rand and his squad have to survive unimaginable dangers in order to save humanity.

After reading this book, I instantly became a fan. Any writer who can blend history, science, and adventure in such a way that the reader feels like they’re reading an Indiana Jones or Tomb Raider novel, is alright with me. As a history buff, his writings will take you on journeys that many of us can only dream about—journeys that will spark curiosities about a world that many of us don’t know.

If you’re looking to get lost in a story, then I’d recommend some of the critically acclaimed novels by James Rollins. With intriguing characters and exciting storylines, readers won’t be disappointed.
