China recently revealed its new Long March 2F Rocket. Standing at 203-feet-high (62 meters), this rocket was transferred to the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center on October 7, 2021.
The Shenzhou 13 spacecraft that sits on top of the rocket will carry three astronauts on its mission. As of right now, the launch date is unknown, but the three astronauts rumored to be a part of the crew are Zhai Zhigang, Wang Yaping, and Ye Guangfu; Wang Yaping will be the first female astronaut to visit China’s space station.
The astronauts will travel to the Chinese Tianhe Space Station module and remain there for six months.
