The World Economic Forum recently hosted a launch briefing for a book release in Geneva, Switzerland. Entitled COVID-19: The Great Reset, this book highlights how the coronavirus pandemic disrupted the world’s social/economic systems and what steps needed to be taken to repair from it. In a panel discussion, authors Thierry Malleret and Professor Klaus Schwab address what they call the three Rs: Restrain, Recover, and Reset. They analyze the root causes of the crisis and why the world needs to reset to bring back a normal civilization.

I’m trying not to jump to conclusions, but watching this discussion validates what many conspiracy theorists are already saying—that this pandemic is being used to usher in a new normal in our economy, educational system, and social interaction. I will be doing further research on The Great Reset, so stay tuned.
