Greetings Everyone,
Unless you’ve been living in an underground bunker, you know about the global pandemic caused by the coronavirus. Aside from adjusting to this situation, I’ve been doing some research on what’s happening across the globe. So the next few posts will be highlighting those findings.
The following information comes from Africa News.
Within the next few weeks, Africa will have a 100% testing capacity for the coronavirus. The World Health Organization’s Africa region head, Matshidiso Moeti, expects that all nations in sub-Saharan Africa will be able to test for the virus soon. She advised the following:
“We expect in the next couple of weeks that all 47 of our member states will have the facilities to diagnose this virus.”
33 countries in the region already have facilities, but more is yet to come.
