Words From The Wise: Ashra Kwesi

“The secret knowledge and the secret spiritual stories of Kemet has been a fear in the Western Church.

The Catholic Church stole many spiritual ideals and wisdom and the salvation and understanding directly from Ancient Egypt. And people like Giordano Bruno, who equally said that ‘Ancient Egypt was the most spiritual place on the planet earth,’ is the foundation of our ideas of salvation and resurrection and many ideas that the Western Church got from there.”

– Ashra Kwesi

I’ve been ideologically unplugging from the West for the past few years, and I can honestly say that the journey has been and continues to be the most convoluted catharsis of my life. Having to learn how to unlearn can be frustrating, but the payoff will be worth it. All of my mentors have told me that full emancipation will require a physical, mental, and spiritual overhaul. And so far, Dr. Ashra Kwesi has been my go-to scholar for the spiritual.

Dr. Kwesi is a historian and lecturer of Ancient African history and religion. He’s the president of Kemet Nu Productions and Tour leader for Kemet Nu “Know Thyself” Educational Tours to Egypt and Ethiopia. He has over 3 decades of study and tour experience on the African Nile Valley, where he spent 14 of those years as an assistant to Dr. Yosef Ben Jochannan. Dr. Kwesi has performed extensive research on location at the temples and tombs of Egypt; his studies have taken him to Ethiopia, Sudan, Kenya, and Ghana.

I want to share a few videos of his that I found interesting. The knowledge that he shares is invaluable, but you must have an open mind in order to receive it. For additional information on Dr. Kwesi, check out his official website and Facebook page. Please be sure to comment below if you’d like to discuss.

Until Next Time…
