For those of you who may not know, I’m a huge fan of artists. It might be due to the fact that I’m somewhat envious of their talent or that my daydreams typically consists of comic book sketches (don’t judge me), but I try to make sure I always support those independent artists who project their reality through a pen and/or paintbrush.
So allow me to spotlight the work of my big brother, Ramon Jacobs.
Jacobs is a local artist based in Charlotte, NC. As you can see from his pieces, he’s a master of self-portraits. The color complexes in each painting tend to tell its own story, along with the image itself. And the detail he adds to each figure accentuates its authenticity.
Until Next Time…
