I hope you all had a smooth week that wasn’t too stressful. Yes, I know that’s asking for a lot during these trying times, but it’s good to project positivity in the midst of it.

Speaking of which, I was informed of an event taking place in Charlotte, NC, on Saturday, February 8, 2025…“Dancing for a Difference.”

Hosted by Bunk 57 Ministries, “Dancing for a Difference” is a Line Dance Fundraiser that will help raise funds to support the ongoing work of the ministry.

The event will take place at the 658 Center in Charlotte.

• 3646 Central Avenue. Charlotte, NC, 28205
• February 8, 2025 (10:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.)

For those who may be a little shy and might not want to dance, you can still support the cause through the Pledge Card.

This year’s goal is to raise $50,000 to support Bunk 57’s P.L.S.M. (Power, Love, Sound, Mind) Youth and Life Restoration Programs. Donors can use the card to make any sizable donation.

Below is a contribution list:

• $50 provides a backpack care package to include toiletry items, underwear, washcloths and towels.
• $100 supports the Introduction to Entrepreneurship Workshop.
• $150 sponsors a child in the Power, Love, Sound, Mind Program.
• $250 pays for individual mental health counseling and W.R.A.P. Curriculum.
• $500 helps purchase camera equipment for the Introduction to Film & Videography classes.
• $ Other. No amount is too small.
