NFAC: Not F*cking Around Coalition

Videos floating around online introduced me to a now nationally recognized group, and it prompted me to do some research.

On July 4, 2020, the Black Militia, known as the NFAC (Not F*cking Around Coalition), made their debut in Stone Mountain, Georgia. Marching into the stomping grounds of the Ku Klux Klan, the organization sent a very clear message to everyone watching.

NFAC Founder and Leader Grand Master Jay, John Fitzgerald Johnson, advised the following:

“We are here to protect the black community, as that’s who is under attack. Nobody is protecting black children, men and women in America. What necessitated the creation of NFAC was the need to address a rising tide of police brutality, of racial brutality, of unfairness in the judicial system.”

“Most of us like me are ex-military, we’re not young people on the block, we’re voters, we’re your responsible guys, we’re the guys with the good jobs.”

The NFAC has denied any affiliation with Black Lives Matter or the New Black Panther Party, and they’re pushing for complete sovereignty for Black people in the United States. In a now-viral Livestream, Johnson stated the following:

“The solution is very simple. We follow the declaration of liberation, declaring every African American descendent of slavery a political prisoner here in the United States who were affected by the Portuguese slave trade and then after that the United States has a choice either carve us a piece of land out here, we’ll take Texas, and let us do our own thing or don’t stop us when we exit this body here and go somewhere where they will give us our own land to build our own nation.”

No one is certain how many members are apart of the organization, where they train, or where they’re based, and Johnson wants to keep it that way.

The group is currently making headlines in Louisville, Kentucky, demanding an investigation into the case of Breonna Taylor. After Attorney General Daniel Cameron told Johnson that it would be four months before the investigation, Johnson gave him a four-week deadline.

“Four weeks from today, we gonna come back here, and we should have an answer.”

I will keep you all updated with any new findings on the NFAC. If you have any additional information, feel free to comment below.

Until Next Time…
